Don't come here anymore, it won't be worth it. | | |
| I'm home. The trip is over. Finished. Ended.
For now.
It was amazing. One of the best month-and-a-half experiences of
my life. I'm very glad I did it. So many great new
memories, and so much to think about. So many new things to try
and to do and to be. I had fun.
Life is good.

| Once again, update!
It's been a while, eh? Haha, I said "eh" like I was from Canada. That's funny, because I was just in Canada! Only sort of, basically it was just so I could say I've been there. Before that I was in Seattle. That was a lot of fun, I met a bunch of awesome people and hung out. It was a good weekend. Most of you don't get to hear Seattle stories, I'm sorry. If you think you might be priviledged enough...you're probably wrong. Ha.
Enough cryptic mind-games. I'm in Dallas right now, visiting the friend I told you about here. I left Vancouver, Canada, on Monday evening. I drove all night to Utah, where I saw Arches National Park, then drove on here to Dallas. Just got here this evening. Check out this to see the path I took. 2,200 miles is a long way in 4 days.
I'll be in Dallas for a couple days, then I'm headed to New Orleans, to see what's going on there. After that, it's back to Indiana for a bit. Here are pictures.

| Whoa, update!
I'm in Portland, Oregon, right now! It's pretty cool here, though I haven't seen a whole lot of the city yet. Need to get going on that, but I thought I'd let you all know what's the good word, first.
Saturday and Sunday I was in San Francisco, checking out all that fine city has to offer. It was incredible, even if the weather was less than perfect. Had on-and-off rain the whole time I was there, but I still got to do all the good tourist-y stuff, like Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, etc. I only scratched the surface though; I know it has so much more to offer. Next time I'm there I am not gonna do any of that stuff, only the back-alley, local attractions.
My trip is a bit more than half over, but it already feels like I'm winding to a stop. Ahead of me lies a full plate, with lots of driving to several various locations. Tomorrow I hope to head to Seattle, then maybe Canada for a visit, then back down towards Utah. There I'll see Arches National Park, maybe Zion NP, too, and then I'm heading for Dallas, Texas. After that, if I have the time, I'll drop by New Orleans, and finally it's back home to Indiana. Sounds like a lot to do in less than three weeks. Each of these places I'm going (with the exception of Seattle and Canada, of course) is more than 800 miles from the previous stop! That'll be a lot of driving, and I hope the van is up for it. It's been treating me well, except for the radio dying on me. I should have expected that; it used to do that a lot when my parents drove it. Now I'm music-less, though! Sometimes I use my headphones with the iPod, but I got pulled over for that yesterday, so maybe not as much anymore!
Well, here are some pictures, since I know that's the real reason you read this.
